Checked out Strawberry on Saturday. The ice is all gone on the Soldier Creek side but the ice is just pulling from the edges on the Strawberry side.
We fished on the Strawberry side and found small bows, 8 to 14 inch fish, in the back of the bays. They were feeding on the surface but I do not know on what.
We did not see any fish cruising along the edges.
Most fish we caught were on spinners, bright colors, but if we had more time we might have done better on casting bubbles and flies......... but we had some lost time trying to help a poor missguided boat launcher.
I bet the launch fees were less then the ........... well, I will let the picture speak for itself. The front was sunk to the frame.
