Ice Carousel ??

I am thinking about making one of these when the grandkids
come for some ice fishing in a couple of weeks.

Any of you guys ever make one?

What are the legalities of making one on a public water?

Thinking about putting it over a rock bar / drop off I always do good on.

Fish the deep and shallow parts of the bar from one hole and never get out of my chair.

Plus keep the kids occupied to boot.

Looks like a lot of work to troll through the ice? How do you keep it from pinching your line?

This was discussed last year and I think that it was determined that it would be illegal due to hole size being over the legal size and that you would be liable if a person or snowmobile went though the hole. I suggest that you call the DWR or DNR for clarification.
