Weather man said storms coming next week, but beautiful today. That's all I needed. Had to go somewhere now.
We drove to Haws point and spent 2 hours on the bank.. caught several cutys. Two other gentleman did the same, 2 cutys, they used bobber and 4 feet under a worm. Did good for cuts, but nothing else.
Great calm day, lots of boats trolling and catching fish, great to hear the kids screaming "I got one"
I caught mine on power bait, don't tell any one. Cut the line on both and decide to leave.
Cleaned up a case of Bear cans, left be someone who just forgot them I'm sure.
Drove up on strawberry ridge, what a great memory of elk hunting days. Strawberry sure was pretty.
Stopped by mud creek to see the ramp, looks .
That's the end about 20 feet away. Hard to launch anything.
Ended seeing the red kokanees by the visitor center.
Lots of fly fisherman maybe I'll try that if the weather holds out..
