Blown away at Rockport!
#1
Fished Rockport 04/01.  First time I have ice fished local waters in April, usually I have been hitting Strawberry for the past month, not this year!  Edges were fine.  No slush.  Where I previously was in 35 FOW, today it was 25-27 FOW, they must be letting it out.  Catching was variable, ended up with 5 big ones and about 25 small ones.  Eyes were best to start with, then, later on, waxie or meal worm.  Windy, picked up as the day wore on.  Wind made it cold, but not unbearable!

Great late season report, good to hear RP is still producing this late in the season, how deep was the snow getting down to the ice? Any trout?

Crazy things are still holding up. Looks like by Thurs of this next week a warming trend will set in. Thought that my ice season was finished 10 days ago prior to a family trip to Cancún. Not so!!
