Early prep for Ice Trip - Red Fleet? Steinaker?

Starting to put together some plans for ice season and was looking maybe to spend a few nights in Vernal then hit Steinaker one day and Red Fleet the next.
I have ZERO knowledge about either of these places winter or summer.
If you have any advise it would be greatly appreciated!

So Red Fleet boat ramp and campground is closed currently. If you want to fish from shore or kayak, you can access from the north shore about a mile past the dinosaur tracks trail. Steinaker is fully open. Fishing is currently good for trout, bass, and bluegill at both lakes. Ice fishing is typically better at Steinaker.
