Fished from 730-1230. Ice around the dam area was about 5". Can't say how it is further out but people walked across the lake and didn't go swimming. Caught a few smaller rainbows in the group and then this 27 incher.

Thanks for the report that’s one of my favorite ice fishing ponds. That Brown is a pig. Did you talk to any other anglers who got into the Kokanee?

I didn't. Saw a few schools come thru but wasn't targeting them. Did see a couple guys out deeper that may have been catching a couple but could have been rainbows

Man, I don’t know what I like better, that fish or the beard. Guess I’ll just say congrats on both accounts!

Great brown, thanks for sharing it with us. Ira caught one like that while ice fishing there around 15 years ago, so I know they are there but for most of us they a hard to catch. Were you fishing close to the bottom? What bait were you using?

That fish has been a lot of years of trial and error. We were fishing close to the bottom with tubes.
