[#000000]Spent some time fishing for smallmouth bass on Sunday afternoon in the vicinity of Dutch John Draw. Fish were pretty aggressive, small ones included. We landed some bigger fish ranging from 1.5-2+ lbs, but most were about 0.5-0.75 lbs. We also saw quite of few fish on beds. Fish were caught on jerkbaits (Husky Jerks, Xraps, Lucky Crafts) and jigs (Yamamoto grubs, Gulp minnows). Some rainbows added to the excitement throwing the same gear. Water temps were 59-60 F.

Hey Ryno. You were a big help to me last year when I was up at the Gorge and I was wondering if you knew where to get a detailed map of the lake. My parents dock their Grady up there and have given me free reign when I move up next week so I plan to make many a trip up there. Just want to try to get more familiar and you seem to be the one with all the knowledge. Thanks.

Not all the knowledge! I'm still just a pup compared to most, swimming around feeding on info whenever/wherever I find it. Glad to help though.
My favorite map is the Flaming Gorge Reservoir Map, by Fish-n-Map Co. I bought mine at Sportsman's Warehouse in Riverdale, but I'm sure you can find it in other angling or even boating stores in this region. They also sell them at some of the local lodges and convenience stores up here.
Good luck, Ryno
