Just curious....
Has anyone been up to the Gorge lately? I was wondering if the macs are in pre-spawn. Last year at this time they were starting to stack up. Has anyone graphed any stacks within the last week or two?
It seems like we are warmer this year than we were last year. Does the warmer water cause a later spawn?
Thanks in advance.

They've been in pre-spawn for over a month. They've been stacked for several months. They spawn in November, always. Linwood Bay. They're around every rock pile in there.

April!
Post-spawn fising has gone in the gutter over the last 6-8 years, for specific reasons I can't go into on this non-controversial, group-hug, peace-on-earth forum.
The fish leave the beds in a big hurry, spread out quickly, and get as far away from the massacre as they can.
I used to guide every day from early November through New Years. I have nothing booked for that time frame this year, and its NOT because I'm going to Florida, because I'll be here.

Hey Jim good to see you on here also, I haven't been on as much as I use to,
I apologize !!!!!!!! for coming across like I did on the last time we where in a debate [mad]
But I still think you are one of the best guides on the lake that fish like you do,
And like I said I do apologize for talking like I did ,
and you do know the Macks up there,
Just a lot of different views on it as fare as catch and release and keep a few small ones or the trophies
But I am not going there just wanted to say hi and say I didn't mean to act like I did. thanks Roger. HP
