Caught while I was taking my fly fishing lesson from Dale. Thank you Dale for your kindness, generosity and patience.

It was a fun day, Kent.
You picked up the basics quickly.
I was impressed with the way you fought and worked the big one.
You are well on your way to some fun times with a fly rod.

You mean I wasn't suppose to be putting them back?

If ANYONE decides to not return them, PLEASE don't just leave them laying on the shore. The stench is horrendous. Dispose of them in a way that others don't suffer. People I mean.

I totally agree with "PLEASE don't just leave them laying on the shore. The stench is horrendous. Dispose of them in a way that others don't suffer. People I mean."

Make something useful out of them, like, maybe Catfish bait.

I carefully released it back into the pond. I think if anything a few carp would help keep the moss down in that pond, and there is lots of moss. Secondly, I bet a youngster would get a thrill catching a carp from that pond and several of them were fishing it while we were there. If I caught on in Utah Lake or The Mighty Jordan River I would probably keep it for bait.
