What's your trick for filleting White Bass?
#1
I love to catch and eat white bass, but filleting 20+ of them is a PAIN? Anyone have a trick to make it easier?

[#0000FF]True that. Love those tasty little morsels. Well worth the effort.

Just a hint...if you have more than a few, try "batching" them. Do a quick slab on the fillets then come back and skin and bone them. Use a dinner fork to hold the ends of the fillets down while you skin them...rather than flipping them as you go. Just lay them out on a board and zip zip.

And if you do a bunch in the kitchen sink, be sure to clean out as much of the scales as possible to avoid clogging the wife's drain. That is a sure way to get banished to the outdoors next time you bring home a mess of whities.
