I just signed up and wanted to say "Hi"
I've been fishing off and on for 40+ years, but only recently got back into it when my 10 year old son started showing an interest
We live in Woodland Cal. which is about 20 miles west of Sacramento on I-5
We fish lake Berryessa(trout) and Cache Creek (catfish and bass)
I don't have a boat so we just bank fish, I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions on different lakes in northern Ca

Do you do any coastal fishing? I've been preparing for that ... bought a lot of surf casting equipment and lures. I'm in Sandy, Utah, so I'll have to travel a ways.
