So I haven't fished much at all this summer due to a busy family, and I haven't posted at all - Sorry guys. But i'm going to get out this weekend and wondered if Scofield would be worth it. Is there any size to the new species yet? Is it still chub city?

Lots of rainbows were planted there a couple weeks ago. We caught fish all day from shore this last weekend. No chubs.

I'd like to get up to Scofield for another trip this year too.
Also, I am trying to find out if there are a bunch of chubs below the dam. Last year there were carpets of them and we caught 75 in about an hour. I want to catch a bunch for bait and to feed my mink. Has anyone been down the road to the river and noticed if the chubs are thick down there?
Thanks.

I was their about 3 weeks ago, chubs are not as thick as last year but there are plenty in their.
A minnow trap would work well for any one wanting to catch 2"- 4".
Copper johns or salmon eggs worked better than a piece of worm.
