Bout noon today the wife said she would like to go to vernon for the afternoon. So loaded up the tube and headed off. Launched bout 3 or so. Water temp was 65 and stayed that way. I gotta say I have been fishing Vernon for years and years and I have never seen it so full. Most times by the dam it is about 15 ft deep. Today it was 36. They have started to draw so not sure how long that will last. Not very many folks there and no wind. Was marking fish everywhere but they didnt want to play.
Finally about 10 til 4 one bit on the gold jakes lure. Managed 3 more after that. called
