Jordanelle Reservoir Small Mouth?

Hello All! Long time no see usually on here keeping everyone posted on ice fishing for Crappie on Pineview. But now that I have kids I have not been on here for Several years! Kind of but love my 2 boys and I guess that's how life goes! My boys want daddy to take them bass fishing! I'm taking them to Jordanelle tomorrow and wondered if anyone can give me a few pointers of where to fish and what to use from the bank? I have heard it is mostly smallies up there not a lot of large mouth? Any help would be great?

Don't know how old your boys are but one word of advice is watch out for rattlesnakes. My youngest son is working on a road project next to Jordanelle and he said they are really bad this year.

I've done very well on hot pink jerk baits and hot pink rattle traps, maybe try some pink sinkos
