Lincoln 7/12

Finally got out of the house and off work so I dragged the kid away from the xbox and down to lincoln. I set the kid up with I nice shoreline spot while I put on the waders and worked the reeds and coves. The water is way high and boy have the fragmites grown since the last time I was down there. The cats weren't super active but with in a few, I started getting a couple hits and then boom, fish on. Nothing special just a nice cookie cutter, went back to where the boy was and he had a couple whities. I went back to the coves and could here fish thrashing in the frags but only got a couple misses. the water got really choppy around 5 pm so we put the fishing gear away and spent half an hour cleaning up trash.

I'm glad you had some success. It's always fun to get out with your kids, especially if they have success. Thanks for picking up the trash. I hope we all do when we get a chance.

What did you catch the whites on? Whereabout? I need some fresh bait [].
