Took my kayak up to Mantua Wednesday evening, got in the water around 6:45. Drove around to the east parking lot and paddled out through the thick foliage. I started with a frog on one rod and a weightless senko on another, but couldn’t entice the bass to play. Finally switched over to a chartreuse curly tail jig with a bit of night crawler. The bluegills started to play as I drift fished being pushed back to the east shore. I even managed to catch a few perch in the mix.
