Great video Robert. I went and did that around 20 years ago and watching  that makes me want to go do it again. Looks like a ton of fun.

I am with you  about the open water. I would rather fish out of the boat than fish on the ice any day!

As a shore sturgeon wrastler I sure would love to try it from a boat!! We go 5 or 6 times a year and do pretty decent from shore but that boat stuff sure looks alot more effective

wind is a big dill   my elect trolling motor will hold us in 14 MPH wind  but it is hard to get a lot of poles out
and catching does not seem to be to good 
I like to use a anchor.
