I received an invite to fish Jordanelle today with JArner. We arrived as it was getting light to the Rock Creek side and were the 1st ones out on the ice. Neither of us had fished that part of the reservoir so it was a blind go at it for us. Started in 28-30 ft of water and I caught 2 browns pretty quick, then it slowed. We moved, I went one direction and he went the other. I found some fish in 48 ft, bows and a couple of perch. Bows were suspended about 10-20 ft down, perch of course on the bottom. Made my last move and was in 44 ft. Bows were really good in this area and I had 3 keepers over 16" on the ice. We were getting ready to pull the lines up and head out and I got one last bite. Turned out to be a cutt (a big surprise) and my biggest fish of the day at 18". Ended up catching 10 bows, 4 browns, the cutt and 4 perch. Perch were about 8". Lots of open water in the main lake and up into the Rock Creek arm. A good 7-8" of ice where we were at. JArner also caught a splake!
