Finally got fishing between 12:30 and 1 PM no bites no fish seen at the first location. Try to second location more on the southside of Blacktail safaris couldn’t get anything to bite even after switching lures. Finally landed two fat 14 inch rainbows On a small imitation dark green grub and Jig head. Tried a third location in 15 feet cut an 8 inch perch right away then nothing after that. Move to a location other people had been at and landed 3 more 8 inch perch and that was it for the day. There were 6 inches of ice where the lake Narrows to the east but it had water on most of it this afternoon. We had the best luck with a perch colored buckshot lure. It works better when it was later in the day but did not work well at an earlier location.
Driving in on snowmobiles we lost several items but I will be picking them up in the morning after somebody posted on them being picked up.
When we left the parking area we found a snow toy that somebody had left there. You just need to identify it.
