Had a good time at Chersterfield this morning from 7:30-10:30. I caught a couple dozen 14-16” rainbows, 1 18” and 1 20” rainbow. I got them on a Gizilla  tipped with meal worm in 12’ of water. I was the first person on the ice this morning, I walked about halfway across the lake off the ramp and drilled a hole in 27’ of water where I only marked one fish in 20 minutes of fishing. So I walked the rest of the way across and set up in 12’ of water and went to work, catching aggressive plentiful rainbows. I had to chuckle as I saw over a dozen groups some with snow mobiles and snow dogs drive less than 100 yards from the ramp and set up all right next to each other. When I quit at 10:30 I watched the groups and didn’t see anyone catching fish. It baffles me when I see people with snow machines that don’t use them to get away from the crowds. The roads was plowed this morning from highway 30 all the way to the lake but on the way out it was snowing heavily and accumulating on the road. I hope the plow gets back there before a take some folks back in the morning.

Ice was great 9+” with a couple inches of slush and several inches of snow on top I’m sure more snow now it was coming down pretty heavy when I left yesterday.
