Hello Jason,
I've only been in Colorado a couple of years now and have been meaning to ice fish but have yet to get out. I've tried some great colorado waters just not the ice. Don (this boards moderator) is big on the ice and is known for getting on the fish (actually ice, no ice, he's known for getting on the fish). Don, does 11 mile still hold decent ice? Maybe we could all work a day in before the season starts to melt away? [signature]

The ice at 11 Mile is fine. Fishing has slowed down some but as always with 11 Mile, most of the trout you catch will be real quality fish - fat and 17"+ in length. If you land 3 or 4 fish in day at 11 Mile you are doing well this time of year. I prefer an overcast day up there and start out fishing 12-15 FOW.
