New Years @ Minersville

Hit up Minersville Res. on New Years. Got there at 7am. Drilled a hole started fishing went back to the truck to get my coffee and my pole was gone. Tried to find it with the Aqua Vu. But no luck. Fishing was slow so I moved to the dam. Fished in 12' of water. Fishing picked up fast I caught around 40 for the day. I did manage to catch this 22'' it was legal to keep but I put it back. It had another hook in it and my jig snagged the line that was hanging off it .Did have two more about the same size break me off at the hole. I was using pumpkin, white and pink colored tube jigs. Left the lake at 330pm.

Minersville is pretty close to me, but I don't ice fish it. I have a hard enough time catching fish where I can use bait. I can't usually get them to take a plain tube jig.
