catfish on the fly!

Went to the jordan river this morning in search of kitties. Started off by the gates but no love. Moved to another spot casted out some bait on one pole and started casting the flyrod. BAM! something big on......kitty! After fighting it for a while finally landed it. My 1st catfish on the fly and what a suprise!


Ended up catching 3 more on bait and lost a really nice one. Also caught one lmb and some panfish.

A little white balsa wood popper u can kinda see it. I had a beaded wooly bugger behind it so it kinda sunk a little.
