Yeah I saw that report when I was looking for the article I read. I just scanned through it. But anyway the article I read indicated that the initial plan proposed in 2009, i.e. the one that you are referencing has had some changes and updates made to it. Although the net effect will be the same as the proposal, they found that there will be additional shoring up required within the existing dam.

I am too busy to try it, but someone should consider doing some catfishing there at night.

It was probably 5-6 years ago at least since I've catted there but it used to be a really good catfish lake. Lots and lots of 10+lb cats, some near 15, and I've even heard of bigger.

Perch works best.
