Beaver Mountain lakes and river
#1
Going up there next week to camp and fish. I know there is significant draw down this time of year for irrigation but hopefully some of the lakes and streams and river will be fishable. Probably hit Kent's Lakes area the most. Will also try some mineral rock hounding out by Milford and the Wah Wah and Mineral ranges.
Has anyone been up there recently?

Thanks!

Hey, with no responses, maybe no one gets up there very much and we'll have some solitude![cool]

You should catch a few fish in any of the lakes up in the mountains.

You can for sure catch plenty of small Browns in the Beaver River.

Try Minersville late, late evening, north west west coves, dark jig or big dark sunken fly on the bottom.

Look on the west side of the Mineral Mountains for giant granite geods full of smokey quartz. Bring a sledge hammer.

A little south in the bald ridges there was a big fire a couple of months ago followed
by some pretty good rains. Good conditions for arrow head hunting, there are a lot to be found in that area.

Thanks, castnshoot. Got ultralight spinning outfit with 4# test and a new 4 wt fly combo ready to harness those smaller ones and still have a blast!
