I just got an e-mail back from my friend down in richfield and he went out to the lake and it was froze. he said there was truck tracks on the ice by the boat ramp. he didn't have a way to find out how thick the ice was but it held him but he did go out to far because he was alone.
So I dont know about the trip yet. I dont know if I want to Ice fish it or not. have to think about that. what do you all think?

How far south is Redmond? I know it is south that is about it. I couldn't find it on the map.

Ice fishing redmond is kinda dangerous cause of the hot springs! My wifes grandpa grew up in redmond and he told me that there are several hot springs in there and to be very careful if there is ice. He also said jan thru feb are the best months of the year to fish redmond.

hey moose,
if there is ice im out. i hate ice fishing so if there is just a little bit of open water even ill think about going but if its completley froze im out. let me know if you find out wha the conditions might be like. sounds like fun if there is no ice or some open water.
