Here's a preview for all you folks planning on fishing Hyrum this weekend.
This picture was taken at about 1:30 pm Friday, January 9th, temperature about 30°. In the morning the reservoir was socked in with fog, but it was sunny with no fog up on the hill where the camera is at. Looks like the fog has lifted by 1:30, but it's still kind of hazy all around. Expect similar conditions over the weekend. Foggy and cold in the morning with the fog lifting and temperatures warming a bit as the day goes on. Ice should be pretty good this weekend. I would avoid the middle however, because there are a few places out there that didn't freeze over all the way until just this week.
