We did really good for some nice chunky fish. We only caught 1 under 12" and landed 12 or so. The biggest was probably 17" . We also got a nice bow and some perch. We chunked em all back so there should be some left[Wink] This was last Wednesday afternoon.

So you guys were fishing below the dam. Looks like you did better than us. We fished in the reservoir but only caught and released 4 fish. Water temp was only 51 deg.

Yes decided to leave the boat at home and hide from the wind and try the river for an afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised.. from what I'm gathering, the water temperature in the reservoir hasn't warmed up much this spring but it looks like things are about to change which could and should spur on the fishing

Either the water temp fluctuates a lot more than i'd expect, or there is something wrong with my sonar (not suspect at this point). Saturday water temp was 51 when I arrived at CJ, but was 57 when I left.

My temp readings were up the Snake arm a ways. We left at about 1:00 PM

That seems about right to me since i believe we are just reading the surface temp of the water and with these still 30 degree nights that warm up to 60's in the day I would expect that, especially on a sunny day
