"There are pretty soft edges. With an access plank I would imagine it's fishable for at least another week or more." Hope he doesn't mind me sharing.

Ice is in good shape once you get on. I needed a plank to get on and off Sunday. Small layer of snow on top made for easy walking and sled pulling. My young kids had no issues moving around. I'm hoping to make it out once more this week. Depending on when you go, I might be able to give an update

Were you using an 8' plank? We were going to try it tomorrow before the next storm.

I've got a 12 footer. But an 8 should be fine. There has been a donated shorter plank that has been left by the spillway the last few times I've been.
