Fished JV this morning until about 1pm. The fishing was slow but I caught 3 nice ones. 2 Cutthroat 16" and 1 Splake 20"
The snow has condensed and the walking was easy. there is still a foot of ice with a little slush on top.

It's okay to have slow fishing when the fish are good sized.[]

It's nice to see the quality of the fish in JV improving now that the TM are holding down the numbers of chubs.
