Does anyone recognize this jig maker and where I may find their products? I believe I purchased these here in Utah, but can't seem to find them anywhere.
The Company is Fresh Water Basics....

I know the Sportsmans Warehouse in Riverdale stocks Freshwater Basics. I've bought their tubes there in the past.

[#0000FF]First of all, click on the edit button. Then check to see if you have checked the "inline" box. If so, click on it to uncheck it and your picture links will show up. If you want them to show up in the post, then there are procedures to follow after attaching them.[/#0000FF]

TubeDude was correct, I fixed it for you but in the future don't check the inline box unless you follow the full procedure for posting inline pics. Not sure if Fresh Water Basics is still sold at Sportsmans but they were.

Thank you for your help wiper!
I called Sportsman’s in Riverdale. They weren’t too helpful. They carry a few still but didn’t seem to know if I could order directly or point me to a dealer.

Try Anglers Den in Roy. I'm not sure what you're specifically looking for, but they sell some freshwater basics. Just up the hill from Sportsmans

I'm unsure if you are looking for the specific jig/color combo, or if you might be looking for something custom from the manufacturer.
In either case, I can't find anything online about Freshwater Basics. I seem to recall buying them at Smith & Edwards as well as Sportsman's. The S&E website indicates they sell Big Bite Baits now, you might look them up.
If you are looking for that grub, in a pink pearl color, they (Big Bite) have these on their site:
https://bigbitebaits.com/product/curl-ta...ink-white/
https://bigbitebaits.com/product/3-fat-g...ink-white/
Edited for clarity of who 'they' are.

I found a guy in Provo that’s selling them on his own now. I’ll see if I can find his number. I bout about $100 worth last spring for the Gorge. He has better selection and prices than Sportsman’s did also.

Oh, and as of last year Sportsman’s was no longer carrying Fresh Water Basics and was only selling old stock until it was gone. Same with Cabelas.

Good luck. It is true that Sportsman's Warehouse and Cabela's are selling out of tge Freshwater Basics and not carrying them anymore.

Fresh Water Basics was a repackager. They would purchase baits in bulk from the various manufactures, repackage them for the retail trade. The particular grub you were showing is manufactured by Kalin. Other manufactures include Gene Larue ( owns Bobby Garland baits plus his own), Sabine Manufacturing ( Mr. Twister), and a bunch of others. When you purchase from them, you usually have to purchase a minimum of 1,000 baits, one color, one size. There are smaller outfits out there that
make custom baits, mostly by hand. Do-it has started a line of hand injection molds for soft baits. I believe Big Bite Baits are done with these molds, don't quote me! Machine injection molding is very expensive. The molds alone can cost up to $50,000 a piece, then you have to purchase the injection equipment. Bobby Garland made all his baits by hand, spider skirts, Gitzits, mini jigs. Synder ( can't remember his first name) came up with the injection process for skirts, tubes, and grubs. Garland was successful, Synder's ( Twin T baits) went under and was bought out by Kalin, who invented the salt impregnation process. Synder had the fat grub/twintail configuration that is the hallmark of Kalin. There has been so much consolidation over the past 10 years that you can't recognize the players anymore !!

I think that some of the information presented by Therapist is factually incorrect, but the gist of his story is pretty accurate. It is pretty tough today to tell who owns who and who makes what.
I actually think it was Gary Yamamoto that first used salt, but even he lost a court case to someone else that had pattend the concept, and paid royalties for years. A different court overruled that later. Several companies make injection molds for soft plastics and the cost of the production pressure pots has dropped a lot. Most units don't cost nearly that much, and neither do most of the molds. Go to tackleunderground.com and do a search and lot of great information is available regarding these subjects.
As for Freshwater Basics, the last I heard was that they went Bankrupt. It seems consistent with someone selling product from home or purchased at discount from a jobber or a court sale. S&W is a local company, as is Angler's Den, with just one or two stores, so purchasing from a smaller jobber or re-seller makes sense. Stores like Sportsman's or Cabelas/BPS require far more product to fill, and refill, their shelves so "leftovers" not only don't make sense, they are not cost effective in the long run.
The crazy thing is that Freshwater Basics sold a good inexpensive product. I am quite sure that if they could still meet the volume required by Cabela's or Sportsman's that they would still be available at their locations.
IF, and I do mean IF, Freshwater Basics has closed their doors, then you had better get what you want before it is gone. IF, and I do mean IF, someone has their product, you should take advantage of it ASAP.
As for the Riverdale Sportsman's not being able to help sufficient to your needs, well they can only do so much. The employees don't have anymore inside information then you do. I may have been the one you talked to, and what I know I know only because I have been on tackleunderground.com for so many years, and have similar friends and connections on makelure.com.
What I do know for sure is that I tried previously to find their company name on the internet and came up empty. Maybe if someone has a package it will have an email, website, physical address you can contact for more accurate information.
As for the soft plastic itself, it looks like a pretty standard Kalin type bait, but Big Bite Baits, Lost Creek, Yum, and Yamamoto all make similar baits. Doing an internet search for their baits in the correct length, then searching for the color, might land you with something close enough. Maybe, just maybe.
