Had to Work for them at Strawberry
#1
I took a great father and son team to Strawberry to chase Kokanee today and boy did we have to work for them we where on the water from 5:30 to almost 2:00. We put 7 in the box released a baby Kokanee, broke one off which I’ve never had happen before and long line released 4 or 5, we also caught and released a couple dozen cutthroat. We stared our morning right off of the Marina and got 2 fairly quickly at 41 ft. Going 1.7 mph and worked east where we broke one off and picked up one more before moving to Hawes point area where Liketrolling found us and said hi, he said he was having a tough day as well, shortly after he left we got into a few more Kokanee at Hawes putting 4 more in the box and long line releasing at least 4 more at 31ft. Going 1.5 to 1.7 mph we got them all on the standard pink setups. Over all a fun day on the water with good company.

Nice Obi. Did dodger color matter? How long was that big one?

Our best dodger was holigraphic pink and silver 4.5 sling blade we didn’t measure but it was a hog over 20” I would guess.
