Jordenelle morning
#1
Hit the water about 5:30 along with about 10 others. The middle of the Reservoir was quite crowded by 10 there was probably 20 boots out there. I'm not sure how good they did when I went through didn't see much on the sonar. We kind of moved around a little bit. I've went up to the arm going east I guess it is..
The fish were a little thinly scattered.
We boated 7 but lost about 5 more.
Best lure was chartreuse wedding ring. And a clown hoochie
About 30 to 35 feet down.
Hooked one big, it tour out my snubbed, broke free of two releases on my planner board , which set it free. The fought for a few minutes. and pulled free. He stayed down deep. Good fish. We did get nice size up to 22 inches and FAT.

Getting ready for the smoker !!

My daughter and I were there at 5:30 also. We had a good morning and boated our limit by 9:30. The size wasn’t what I was hoping but I’m sure they’ll taste great!

That's a interesting thought. Remember it's jordenelle you would be risking you life. ! Maybe if you fished from 1 am to 5 am. They have no respect and the park rangers do nothing.
