Burbot help

I am headed to flaming gorge for the week and being that the kokes are closed down for the season I would like to try my hand at the burbot and see if I can help the fishery out a little. I have tried a few times for them but have never been able to hook one. Any advice on how to find them or what to use to find them would be greatly appreciated

I know it is a lot of info but try starting back at the older dates. The best time to catch them is in the late evening and into the night after dark. Start your search along rocky shorelines and points. Try using cut bait like sucker or chub mean and use a glow jigs.

It is way early in the season to start for burbot. Wait a month or so and you will be more successful.
