Hoping for recent info on Big Sand Wash

Wanting to make the trip to Big Sand Wash Res this week, but haven’t seen any reports. Does anyone know if it’s frozen and fishable? How’s the access road to the ramp? Last year I buried the truck in a snow drift near the top of the access road and don’t want to go thru that again. Any current info will be greatly appreciated.

6"+ once you get on the main sheet (01/02). Edges are a bit soft since they are filling it. Fishing hasn't been stellar for me and most I've talked too. Perch have been very negative for the most part, taking a lot of effort to get them to bite. Had to work through a lot of small ones to find a few to fillet. Seeing plenty of perch on the flasher everywhere we drill from 25' to 60', but they look and reject a lot There was an exceptional perch hatch this year and I think they are just very well fed. Things may change as the season progresses.

Access to the main boat ramp is currently good. Very little snow. Water levels are higher than last year too.
