Hi welcome all to the new BFT. I fished Aberdeen, at AF res. on Wednesday.  Still over 1 foot of clear ice. You need ice cleats. Fishing was slow for small pearch. I never seen anything else caught. I am going to try by the dam on Monday for some trout. Maybe small mouth.

You're welcome Curtis. Good to see the new site up. I made it to the dam today. No one else there and I never did any good.

Well that's too bad, about not catching anything, hows the ice holding up Randy?

Ice is great. A foot at least. It won't last long now. I left after 3 hours of no bites because I wanted to try for some small mouth at Seagull Bay. But that area is closed in the winter. I have a new (used ) boat I want to get on the water. A 2013 Lowe with a 40 hr. Merc. And front trolling motor.

Do you know when Seagull bay or Willow bay open and when you can launch from them?

Willow bay is open. Just Seagull bay closed.

I guess that means the dock by the dam is still iced in ?

Thanks,
Scott

Anyone know if the docks are in the water at Sportsman's?

No the docks aren't in yet. No ice in site.

At least not at the dam. I didn't get down to Sportsman.
