Current Creek

Does anyone know what the conditions are like up at Current Creek (ice/road). Can you still get a car up there? Any info on if there is an safe ice yet? Was thinking of taking my wife out this weekend.

As far as I know they close the gates on november 1, but I'd be curious if anyone has been up there later than that
