Strawberry 07/10

Launched yesterday at Soldier Creek. Fished from 630-300. Only caught 1 koke on the SC side. Moved over near the Marina for the rest of the day. Couldn't keep the cutthroats off. Fish were suspended in the 40-45 foot range. Surface water temp was 62-68 degrees. Caught two nicer rainbows in the afternoon and called it a day. Not a bad day but the Kokanee fishing continued to be terrible.

That sounds like a broken record playing for everyone who is trying to find the kokes. I hope the theory of a thermocline that has not stabilized is correct and the fishing improves for you all.
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew

It looked like the thermocline had formed around 45-50ft from what I saw on my fish finder. Most of the marked fish were sitting right on top of it.

agreed, but I noticed it wasn't every where.
