Bathroom rug icefishing fly.

Technically they call this a “mop fly”.
My wife got a new bathroom rug, which happened to be made out of this material. I figured she wouldn’t notice if a few of them went missing. . I have not shown her this fly lol. 

Tied a couple of these up with some lead eyes for weight, red bernedoodle hair, and some flash, they did really well through the ice at bountiful pond a week ago.

I've tied all kinds of "bucktails" out of golden retriever hair.

But I love the mop fly. Looks great.
