I was there last thursday, and it didn't look like there was morn than a foot or two of water in the north marina. We did see a small boat out on the water, so it might be possible.

You can put a small boat in, but it's still a no no for any larger craft...that is unless your large craft is a hoovercraft!

It has been dredged recently so it should be about three to four feet leading out to the main lake as I understand from another fellow bft.

I was out on willard last week.
i wouldnt put my new boat on there. I would launch my 14 ft aluminum in a heart beat, without hestitation. Where the channel dredge ends its about 4 ft deep. The channel is around 8 ft deep. The channel is not your main concern. Figure that the dike surrounding the outlet is still out of the water, the island near the south marina is still way out of the water, theres tons of smaller stuff bars and submerged humps that are inches below water level. Those are your main concern. If you are motoring along and run into one, you are done. The marina is no problem. [signature]

Don't worry about it yet Mike. Your boats not ready anyway. Lets get the thing done so I can show you the Northwest technique of fishing. Which is you actually catch it instead of stopping by Smiths on the way home to pick up your catch. LOL See you Monday. Al
