Hit willow pond with just_trolling last night between 6-9. caught about 20 between the two of us. Rainbows, Bluegill and LMB were all part of the catching. Take your kids for some fast Bluegill action worm off the top next to the reeds and weed lines.

The DWR stocked willow last tuesday night with about 2000 gills, I was catching them all night with my fly rod..I also stuck a 2.5 pound smallie..yeah baby that was fun on my regular rod made me itch for flaming gorge..few more weeks and will be there getting the boat of the inlaws out of storage.
did not see many trout being caught at willow tuesday mostly bass and gills. one catfish..I couldnt tell you what kind..but it was a bigger fish for that pond.

Smallies in willow? Sure it wasn't a largie? I guess anything is possible, after all, what isn't in willow? They've put rainbows, brookies, gills, largies, channels, lakers and I guess someone got sick of their koi and dumped em' in there. What were the gills hittin'? Hopefully get me some panfish action on the fly rod this weekend.

I am not sure of the exact address but it is north of murray parkway golf course. We caught everything off the top using a worm 3 feet or so under a red/white floating bubble. the gills were in typical gill locations, weed bedd and reeds.
