Cache Valley Report
#1
Here is a report for the last month or so on some of the water in Cache Valley. I have had a lot of success float tubing first dam in the mornings. The winds come out of the canyon early on and that's when I seem to do my best. I have caught a few 16 inchers and a 17 inch brown on a wooly bugger or leach pattern using sinking line. I have also had success with a bead head pheasant tail. I have been fishing foster reservoir up by Preston also. I have had a good time catching rainbows, but haven't been able to get into any perch yet. I use the same thing that I use at first dam. The bear river up in Idaho has been fishing pretty good lately. The water levels are really low. The white fish are very active this time of year along with most other species. Anyways, that's where I have been going, sorry for not getting these out a little sooner. Anybody that wants to go tubing sometime just send me a PM and we'll go.

Thanks BMURR for a good report. Other than a couple of trips to Bear River for catfish and one to Porcupine I have not been out. I hope we get a brake from the weather so I can get more excited.
