Pineview report (7-05-04)
#1
Fished pineview this morning from 6:00-10:30 with great success. The first muskie I caught at 6:30 I did'nt measure it but it was around 42" or 43". The second muskie was caught 8:30 and again I never measured it either but it was alot bigger in length and girth it was about 46" or 47". I was by myself and took some pictures the best I could the first three pics are of the second fish I caught and the last two pics are of the first muskie I caught. Both fish put up a good fight and where released unharmed. I unhooked them at the side of the boat and they took off quickly.

Wow, what dexterity, what finesse! I certainly couldn't have been keeping fish like that on AND snapping a picture! You are into multi-tasking to the max! What and where for them nice fishies? Way to go!

WH2, we only caught 3 small wipers. It surprised me to see how much willard has droped since the last time I was there. I am finished with willard for the year. My state parks pass expired at the end of June. Knowing Willard would have another low water year I bought a pass to pineview last May.

Way to go Mike,

It was nice meeting you up there. Bait_Caster and I struck out. Where did you get that second one?

BC and I went to see if we couldn't get him his first musky. He's tried many times and still no pics. Since he never even got a hit, I'm wishing he'd of gone with you. Much better experience.

Again, very nice fish and fantastic jugling act with the camera dude.

What does a season pass cost for Pineview?

WH2- It costs $70.00 and its a seasonal pass unlike willards 12 month pass.

OldCoot- I got it on the north side of cemetery point. When you guys went to the narrows I went over to cemetery point.

Its only good at pineview. It might seem like a ripoff but for me it is not. I can be at the port ramp in 13 minutes from my house. I go to pineview quite often. It costs $7.00 to get in so if I go 10 times I break even. I think I've been about 7 times since I bought it.
