[font "Arial"][black]Men rescued after boat capsizes in Oregon Inlet

(Cape Hatteras, N.C.) - A fishing boat capsized Friday morning, plunging the two men into the cold water of Oregon Inlet.
The SeaFox overturned in Oregon Inlet.
Ron Atwell of Summerfield, N.C. and Clayton Dilday of Greensboro, N.C. were rescued by nearby boaters and the U.S. Coast Guard shortly before 8:30 a.m.
The charter vessel Free Agent reported that the 23-foot SeaFox oveturned in the surf. The two men, fishing for striped bass near the north shoals of Oregon Inlet, was capsized by a wave.
The men were in the 61-degree water for less than five minutes thanks to another boat, the Fishing Fool, pulled them to safety.
The men were transferred to a 21-foot Coast Guard rescue boat and brought to land.
