East Canyon report
#1
Hit East Canyon today with some friends. The Ice was about 7" with about 1" of wet snow on top. Fishing started out slow but picked up about 9:30. We ended up icing 25+ rainbows. Most were about 13-14" but we got 3 that were 16" and fat. The biggest one caught was a male and it was really dark and brown. Looked like it had been rolling in mud. We caught fish on almost anything, but you had to get the jig right on the fishes nose. The electronics really made a difference today.

We took 1 little fish and placed it out about 70- 75 yards to see if the Eagles wanted a quick bite. It took less than 2 minutes and one came swooping in. I snapped some pictures of it eating the fish and posted the best one.

Thanks for the report, did you have to move around to find the fish? How late did you stay? Nice looking picture of the eagle.
