2 lbs. Halibut Steaks, fresh or frozen
1 cup French dressing
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Thaw frozen fish Steaks. Cut into serving size portions and place in shallow baking dish. Combine dressing, lemon juice and salt, and pour over fish. Let stand for 30 minutes, turning once.
Remove fish from sauce and place in well greased 12x8x2 inch baking dish. Crush onions, add cheese, and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle onion and cheese over fish. Bake at 350 F 25 to 30 minutes, or until flaky.
