sure was nice of him to see his shadow, looks like ice fishing up to st patricks day..... woo hoo... lousy start but a bang up finish.....

single digets here in south east michigan. tonight one degree wind chill factor this morning. it may hit 33 day time but back to teens and low 20s at night for the rest of the week. I might be able to get in some crappie fishing fryday.... maybe even a pike or walleye!!!

I wonder what it would take to move ground hog day to november, like a couple days before Turky day. "Tuesday" [angelic]

Walleye and Pike are already closed here. And as I type this, it's 59°. Beware warm weather. But while you have the ice, hope you catch that little pike that keeps getting away from you.

I did manage to get me a crappie for the ice fishing contest today. along with a dozen gills to to call it dinner....

Today's high was 40°. That happened at the first minute of the day. Woke up to 27° and tomorrow expecting to wake up to about 10°. So that swimming pool we had on top of the ice will be freezing back up.
