Picked up Fishin Buddy III at a garage sale. It seems to work ok but I cant figure out the range finder. The screen says to slowly rotate the unit and press the range key at the end of each revolution. I did this and nothing seemed to happen. Am I missing something?

On the 2250 modle you just hold the range key and it will show the depth change to where you want. You can also leave it on auto and it will change depth as you move. Your unit may have a problem it this doesn't work.
