#1
Anyone know if this is accessible yet? Would like to take the boat out after the kitties this weekend.

Not sure what you are asking? American Fork is not part of the Utah State Park system (owned by the city of AF).

I was told that there was a new one managed by the Utah State Parks in the AF area.

I was told that American Fork had purchased the marina in Saratoga Springs (the old one in the city). I called Saratoga Springs and it was news to them. I have seen nothing to indicate that a new marina is being built near American Fork.

Dang it. Well guess I am paying LBH more money this weekend in search for big kitties. I should have just bought a pass, This will total $120 to LBH so far this year.

The AF boat harbor is still closed. I was there yesterday taking my family out for a boat ride all the way around the lake. You can boat inside if you come in from outside harbors and fish your brains out. I did notice a few people walking into the AF harbor but you have to park and walk from the outside of where the road damage is.

There is a private boat harbor reserved for private boat club members (snob appeal [crazy]) right next to the AF harbor but I am not sure if AF is buying them out.

Old Saratoga harbor is still private and it belongs to the residents of that immediate area.

So the answer is no, there are no new harbors acquired by the AF.

Have you been out chasing the walleye lately? I think I will target them this weekend when I go.

Yeah I went last saturday at Deer Creek and couldn't buy a bite. Sucky day!

This saturday it's either Willard Bay or Starvation, my friend's driving this time so it's his call, and I'm gonna fish my brains out to make up for that fishless experience last saturday!

Ive fished thr AF harbor area a few times. We were wading out from along side the creek. You have to negociate some overgrown plant life and it may be challenging to portage your craft through - but not impossible.
