Tony Grove & White Pine
#1
Headed up to Tony's Grove and White Pine lake in Logan Canyon this week and was just wondering if anyone has fished either of those two or the stream that comes out of white pine this year. A couple years ago we did pretty well at white pine on the brookies with flys.

Thanks for the help!

I haven't fished there this year, but the stream is usually pretty good. (Sorry I can't help more on that.) You probably know there's not much water in Tony Grove; it's at its natural level while they repair the dam. (I've heard people are still catching a few fish, but DWR's not stocking it.) The Forest Service is hoping to get it fixed and filled before winter.

White pine is in pretty good shape this year. I fished it about a month ago and the fish were healthy enough. Some guys near us were getting them pretty steady on some kind of bait and I was getting them on tiny midge nymphs behind a casting bubble.

I haven't been yet this year. Maybe next week I'll give it a go. Let us know how you do.
